You can delete your Sweetin account and its data at any time, free of charge.
In the app (immediate)
- Open Sweetin and tap your profile photo, top right of the home screen: settings open.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap delete my account.
- Confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately.
Without access to the app
Email team@sweetin.app from your account’s email address, with the subject “Account deletion” and your username. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, give your username: we may ask you to confirm from the app. We delete the account within 30 days at the latest and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account: email, sign-in identifier, username, date of birth.
- Your friends and blocks.
- Photos and messages you sent that have not been scratched yet, and the traces of your sweets (sent and received).
- Reports you made.
- Your notification tokens.
What is kept, and for how long
- Reports made by other users about you, with the copy of the reported message: 12 months, for user safety and to respond to authorities. They are no longer linked to your account.
- Technical connection data: [duration to confirm], where the law requires us to keep it.
- Database security backups, which are automatically overwritten within [7] days.
- Anonymous statistics, which cannot identify you.
